Today, I was dubbed the "best mom ever" and I'm gonna bask in it for a few more minutes because it will undoubtedly be revoked tomorrow morning.
The title was earned when our day started out like this:
weekdays = healthy cereal
weekends = sugared cereal
Abby was watching as I poured Brenna's bowl of Cap'n Crunch from the Cheerios box. Her eyes grew SO big and she kept repeating
"UM, MOM... MOM... WHAT IS HAPPENING?!"
Then Brenna saw it and said "WHOA MOM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Happy April Fools Day girls!!!
Then dinner was served and I was asked
"Mom, we get sweets for dinner?! YES!"
This is what they ate:
Meatloaf cupcakes frosted with pink mashed potatoes!
I initially found these ideas for our Young Womens activity, so here's one of our cute girls showing her jell-o drink that wasn't so drinkable...
It was such a fun day... now I need those talented bloggers I stole these ideas from to think of some new ones for next year!

So cute! Wish I could have been there and seen Abby's eyes! The dinner turned out great, the jello looks really cute with a straw in it!
so funny!! cute ideas!!
Oh what fun! I love this idea! You are so clever! Love your photos!!!
Too fun! I can just imagine their faces when they saw the cereal.
I saw a friends picture of their dinner... they served "spaghetti" for dessert. Cupcakes in a 9x13 covered in cream colored skinny piped icing. Meatballs were Ferrero Rocher (sp) chocolate, then strawberry syrup as the "sauce". It looked really good.
It looks like it all turned out great! Maybe in a few years when my kids are a bit older I can be a fun mom like this! I love everybit of it!
You did great! Looks like your girls had a super fun day!
