I had an ortho appointment this morning for a broken bracket (my 2nd one mind you) and my orthodontist asked me what I'm doing to pop these things off so easily. With my first bracket problem, I told him I lost my "food bible" but that I had really been enjoying caramels lately... he didn't think I was funny, even though I was obviously lying. So, this time he asked if I've let up off the caramels and I told him yes, but now I've moved on to my favorite processed sticky treat of all times:

The entire office (plus 2 other patients) all commented on how nasty the banana flavored ones are and how those get chucked in their houses. I about came unglued because they really are my favorite! So the entire time I was there today, comments were being made about Debra's obsession with fake bananas. At one point he called for his assistant because he needed suction... he said "she must still be thinking about those laffy taffy's because she's salivating". He's so funny, huh?!
When I left the office, one of the girls asked if they could put me on payroll because they like it when I come in. My obnoxiousness is obviously amusing to someone.
Back to the banana candy.
My sister Janna and I use to walk to our local 7-Eleven when we were young and buy these little plastic shaped banana tubes full of banana flavored powder (aka: banana sugar) and it was the best treat ever!

We also use to pick out the banana ones from boxes of Runts because they were obviously our fav!
But hey- all sticky candy dreams aside... I've lost 10 lbs!
