wedding weekend

We ventured up to Idaho for the weekend for my cousin Michaels wedding. He married his super cute, long-time girlfriend Emily, and we were so glad we were able to go and spend the weekend away and to be with family! They got married at a quaint park amidst some cows (that Claire was in love with!) and despite the heat, it was a beautiful day!(I have to document what happened when I took this picture. We were literally turning the corner as I took it, and my mom asked me if I got it. I told her I think so, and from the backseat, Abby says "Grandma, was mom taking a picture of someone who was wearing something funny or something?" OOPS! I need to watch what I say & DO even more now! My children know my secrets & my not-so-hidden obsessions!)

Onto the wedding festivities...

Mike & Brenna hanging out before he got married!

I thought this was a cute pic... I think Mike was crying!
Awww... they're such a cute couple.
We're so happy for them and the start of their new life together!

The happy couple!

My girls, cousin Gabriel & the newlyweds!

Cute shoes!

Abby, Brenna & my cousin JR's little boy Gabriel have such a good time when they're together! They're becoming such good friends!

My little neice Claire is infamous for her funny faces, and I caught some classic ones at the reception! I love this babe!

Saturday morning, we went to see the Idaho Falls temple

We LOVE it when Claire jumps! Her whole body jolts, but this is proof that she is getting off the ground... a little bit!

The pretty Idaho Falls!

The snake in the Snake River. Brenna kept referring to it as "Snake Lake".

The chicas watching the ducks.

Claire chasing Mother Goose

Grandma & Grandpa Crook's old house on Hill Street.
Such fun memories there!

Mom wanted to go to Rexburg to see the new temple up there. My parents both went to school at Ricks, and she hasn't been up there in a long time, so it was fun to sneak over there for a bit.

The temple is absolutley beautiful!

Janna was laughing at me when I took the picture of this ant, but look at it- it's HUGE!

Cousins walking around the temple grounds

And this my friends, is where my mom lived when she was at school at Rick's College. We had a moment of silence and then laughed at a few stories she shared.
Folks, I'm proud to inform you that my mom has ALWAYS been sassy and we love her for it!

Looks like you guys had a fun weekend! LOVE the pics of Claire at the reception... she cracks me up! The Rexburg temple is much bigger than I thought it would be... looks like we'll have to make a trip up that way soon to check it out.
And that ant pic is just gross.
