In my many attempts to be nicer to my body, I've recommited myself to going to Yoga once again. I look at it this way: it's two mornings a week (totally do-able) it's at my church (.2 miles away) and even though I'm naughty and laugh a lot (I have a hard time being reverent even on non-Sunday events), we all have a great time and come home feeling so wonderfully sore, it's a beautiful thing! Our cute instructor has a yoga blog that I just found out about and I love it! It's SO motivating and makes me anxious for Thursday!

My girls love going and being that they're so young and pliable, they can do so many more poses than I can! Abby's always doing the "full lotus" and asking me if I can do it too (knowing full well that I can't!), and they love practicing their "boat poses", etc. It's fabulous for them and I love that they are so excited about it too!
If you've never done yoga in any form before, I think it's something we could all try. Even the DVD's are great, but most communities offer classes as well as most Gym's.

Ha ha....love it! I can TOTALLY picture you holding that position!! Can't wait to go with you on Thursday! I love Yoga! You really do feel stronger afterward, don't you think?!
I love yoga - I just need to do it more often. I have a DVD that I like to throw in at night. I sleep like a baby after.
It's awesome when we find something we enjoy and we help our bodies!
