Just the other day, a favorite neighbor of mine (he's a favorite because he's more obnoxious than I am!) commented that my braces aren't as fun to make fun of anymore because I don't hide my smiles behind my hand. Almost every time I see him, he starts picking his teeth to subtly hint that I have something stuck in mine... he's so funny, I know. He knows it too.
But honestly, I'm liking the braces thing. I don't wish it upon anyone at this age, but I will love my smile (in 15-18 months) when they're off!
My niece Claire looks at "Dee-Dee's" teeth and says "OWIEE". After tomorrows appointment, I'm sure I'll be saying that too- but it's okay.
Today, I am proud of my GRILL!
Despite the fact that I broke a bracket the other day on bread. Yup, bread broke the bracket. I called my orthos office yesterday and the lady felt so bad and tried reassuring me that it'll be okay. Um, I wasn't concerned about it at all... I told her it was totally worth it because the bread was fabulous!
