Today was such a beautiful day here! The weather was nice and cool and I think I heard Abby tell Grandma about 19 times that there were puffy white clouds outside (she's learned that those are Grandmas favorite)! We had Sandie, Jason, Janna and Claire here for dinner and just had a nice time mostly playing with the baby, but it was just a fun day. After Sandie left for work, Janna said something about wanting to paint her toenails (such a random girl thing) and we sent my girls downstairs to get it (which is a whole other story in itself), so I somehow got her to paint another coat on my toes, then mom said she wanted hers painted because we found the perfect "mom color"- so Janna was busy giving prettifying our toes. Anyway... we started laughing because as she was painting my moms toes, I said something about how she missed part on the side of her big toe, so she fixed it and then the humor really began. First off... my mom has really pretty feet I think (yes, there is such a thing!). Her toes aren't as finger-like as mine are, but pretty feet aside... she has the biggest big toe nail ever and Janna and I thought we were funny by making comments about how she might need another bottle of polish to finish and that her toe nail was almost like a full size canvas to paint on! We now know why the cute little Asians who give her pedicures paint such HUGE flowers on their PALLET!

That's the first thing I'm doing when I'm done with this move.
Mom does have the best big toe to paint.
Pedi parties are tons of fun! The fun of family is to be able to laugh at random things together!!!
Cute toes. I love those tiny toes of Claire's. I wishe I could of been part of the painting party.
