"Mom, when you wear make-up, you look prettier. I mean, you're really pretty, but I like you with make-up too."

That is the funniest hting I have heard all day! and I've heard some funny things. I pulled over to help an old lasy who was struggling with her garbage can. I thought she was trying to bring it in from off the street and when I offered to pull it up she said "don't touch the can! I just got it there!" I said oh, the direction you were pushing I thought you were pulling back in. She reply's Do I need to wear a sign that says "I'm just taking out my trash!" I laughed sorry lady II won't help you. And then in the grocery store a man said to his wife why buy 2 boxes of chicken broth when you only need one and a half of it, just buy this big can. Um, each box was 48 oz. the can was 49oz. I don't think the can is going to give you one and half boxes. That is elementary math dude. Funny day, funny day! Hey, when are you coming anyway? I want to go to bed! Just kidding, I enjoy our all night hair parties. See you soon.
thanks for the comment on my blog! your girls are so darling. my grandparents emailed my mom after your mom and sis were there and told her about making the glendora connection. it really is a small world. i'm jealous they saw my grandparents, i've wanted to go visit them there so bad, but with husband in school it's not a reality. in the mean time i'll love vicariously through my grandparents' letters, and i saw sandie's post about their trip too. so fun to read. say hi to your family from the smiths!
